OVET (2009-2011) The aim of the OVET project is to study how spaces affect their occupants’ creativity in innovation processes. The study examines spaces from a broad perspective, taking into consideration not only the physical premises but also the use of communications technology there and the social dimension, too. The project looks at the influence of spaces on creativity from a user viewpoint. A key aspect is the development of a method for measuring creativity and how users experience the space. The influence of spaces on creativity is being studied by simulating innovation processes in various combinations of spaces.
The project is being undertaken in collaboration with the Aalto University School of Art and Design’s Future Home Institute and the Vaasa University of Applied Sciences. MUOVA is acting as project coordinator. The corporate partners are ISKU, ABB and Humac. For further information, please contact the director of MUOVA, Annika Hissa (annika.hissa@aalto.fi).
